Rules and regulations


  • Student must maintain minimum 70% of attendance for each subject to appear the semester examination.

  • Maximum ten theory subjects can fill up to appear the semester examination except practical.

    INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS:
  • During the examination, all the students are hereby informed to strictly adhere to the following instructions. Violation of the instructions shall be dealt with very strictly as per the rule frames by the Directorate for such examinations.

  • No student shall be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30(thirty) minutes of the commencement of any examination.

  • No student shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before one hour of commencement of the examination as the case may be.

  • Examination halls shall be opened for the students only 10 (ten) minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination.

  • Students shall carry their individual calculators, pen, pencils, erasers, drawing instruments etc. Interchanging/borrowing of any examination related accessories inside the Examination Hall is not allowed.

  • Programmable calculators, digital diaries, mobile phones and any such electronic devices are not allowed inside the Examination Hall. If, by mistake, these are brought to the Examination Hall, these should be deposited with the invigilator of the hall before the start of the Examination.

  • Students shall not carry any materials or texts except the accessories required to appear in the examination. All prohibited items are to be kept outside the main entrance.

  • Students shall read the instructions on the Question Papers and Answer Scripts before answering the questions.

  • Students shall not write anything on the Question paper except their registration numbers.

  • Students shall use only black and blue inks for writing on the Answer Script. Green ink, Red ink, highlighters and correction fluids are not to be used in the Answer Script.

  • Students shall write on both the sides of the pages in the Answer Script (both the main and additional Answer Scripts) except for the front cover page of the main Answer Script.

  • Blank pages shall not be left in between the written pages.

  • Unused pages and spaces shall be struck off before handing over the Answer Script to the invigilators.

  • Students shall write the number of additional sheets used in the Main Answer Script, tie the additional sheets with the main Answer Script and hand them over to the invigilator before leaving the Examination Hall.

  • Students shall carry their Admit card and should produce them, if asked for.

  • Students shall co-operate with the examination personnel in case of frisking/physical checking.
